This policy covers the RENOVO Fit iPhone app ("the app"), made by Pete Garza, doing business as RENOVO COACH ("we", "us"). It is a separate app from the RENOVO client tracker, which has its own privacy policy.
The short version: RENOVO Fit has no account, no servers, no ads, no analytics and no tracking. Your Apple Health data is read on your iPhone, shown to you, and never leaves your device.
Apple Health data
With your permission, the app reads the following from Apple Health: sleep, heart rate, heart rate variability (HRV), resting heart rate, respiratory rate, steps, active energy, walking/running and cycling distance, workouts, dietary energy, protein, carbohydrates, fat, water, body weight and date of birth (used only to estimate your heart-rate zones).
- This data is used only to show you your readiness, recovery, training, steps and nutrition inside the app.
- It is processed on your iPhone and is never sent to us or anyone else.
- It is never used for advertising, marketing or data mining, and never sold or shared.
- The App Store version of the app does not write anything to Apple Health.
- You can change or remove access any time in Settings › Health › Data Access & Devices › RENOVO Fit.
Settings stored on your device
Your goals (steps, workouts per week, calories, macros, water) and display preferences such as theme are saved on your iPhone only. Deleting the app deletes them.
What we don't collect
We don't collect your name, email, location, contacts, photos, device identifiers, usage analytics or crash reports through the app. The app contains no third-party analytics or advertising code.
Partner links (Bucked Up)
The app includes an optional section with Bucked Up products and our ambassador discount code. Tapping a link opens Bucked Up's website in Safari. We may earn a commission on purchases made through those links or with the code. The app does not send any of your information to Bucked Up; once you are on their site, Bucked Up's own privacy policy applies. The partner section is the same for every user and is never based on your health data.
Children
The app is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect any information from children.
Health information disclaimer
RENOVO Fit provides general fitness and wellness information. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
